The First Meeting of the Fall Semester Was Held Within the Scope of the Vocational Schools Education Cooperation Protocol

Within the scope of the Vocational Schools Education Cooperation Protocol signed between the Council of Higher Education and the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey, the first meeting of the Protocol Executive Board for the 2025-2026 Fall Semester was held on October 21, 2025, at 14:00, hosted by Bucak Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

 

The meeting was chaired by Bucak Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Hasan Yalçın MEÇİKOĞLU; Hikmet Tolunay Vocational School Director Dr. Lecturer Zekeriya AKIN, deputy directors Lecturer Muzaffer MUTLU and Lecturer Dr. Bilgehan ÖZKAN, school secretary Ali SEKMEN, Chamber Vice President Ahmet COŞKUNER, Chamber Board Members Hasan KURT and Harun MUTLU, and Chamber Secretary Deputy Menşure ARIŞLI participated.

 

  • Important evaluations were made and opinions were exchanged within the framework of the following topics during the meeting:
  •  
  • Evaluation and development of students' practical training, internship, and on-the-job vocational training processes,
  • During the fall semester, organizing seminars, conferences, and talks by the Chamber for students on information, vocational awareness, entrepreneurship, and career planning,
  • Determining the profiles of qualified intermediate staff needed in the workplaces of Chamber members and evaluating the alignment of program curricula with sectoral needs accordingly,
  • Discussing proposals for joint projects, R&D, and social responsibility activities between the Chamber and vocational schools,
  • Planning workplace visits, technical tours, and mentoring activities to increase students' interaction with the business world.

 

Speaking at the meeting, Vocational School Director Dr. Lecturer Zekeriya AKIN stated that the studies to be carried out within the framework of cooperation will provide significant contributions to students, educational institutions, and the regional industry.
